Denise Thwaites is an Australian curator, researcher and educator, whose practice interlaces digital and community engaged processes to interrogate emergent frames of inclusion, exclusion and collaboration, particularly as they are re-imagined through decentralised technologies.

She is an aesthetic theorist and daydreamer who publishes at the intersection of feminist techno-science, art and political theory. She is a member of the Centre for Creative and Cultural Research, and Assistant Professor in Digital Arts and Humanities at the University of Canberra, where she teaches into the Bachelor of Arts and Digital Cultural Heritage.
