Jack Parkin

Jack Parkin is a digital economist at the Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University, where he researches human-machine interaction and its impact upon society. His recent book, Money Code Space: Hidden Power in Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Decentralisation, examines how cryptocurrencies are assembled via a myriad of collaborative and competing stakeholders, and reveals how these entities jostle for power. Dr Parkin is also Product Strategy and Innovation Lead at the blockchain company Lygon.
