When existing foundations collapse, start from the beginning to build stable ones. Permaculture principles drive pilons into shifting sands, (the soft mud of the Venetian Lagoon). It doesn’t matter that we don’t yet know the shape of the structure to be supported. This is a tool that can be applied to a many operations, including finance.
